An elderly traveling porchetta vendor affectionately called his young customers “grandchildren.” To everyone, he had become “the uncle.” The vendor is no longer here. In his place, there’s me, his daughter, running a small supermarket with my family. It’s small but offers a wide variety of ready meals, along with our agricultural and food and wine products.
