How to get here

Car

To reach Sarteano from the A1 Autostrada del Sole, follow these steps:

  • Take the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme exit (Exit 28) from the A1 motorway, heading south.

  • Once you exit the motorway, follow signs for Sarteano (SS478).

  • Continue on SS478 for about 10 km, following signs for the town center of Sarteano.

  • Once you reach Sarteano, you will find several parking areas near the historic center, where you can easily access the main attractions of the town.

This route is straightforward and well-signposted, allowing for a quick and direct journey to Sarteano.


Train

Arrival Train Station: Chiusi - Chianciano Terme.

  • Line Rome - Florence - Bologna - Milan.

  • Line Rome - Chiusi - Siena.

  • Line Perugia - Terentola - Chiusi.



Reach Sarteano by bus or taxi: Once you arrive at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme station, you can take a bus or taxi to Sarteano, which is about 10 km away. The bus service connects the train station with the town, or you can opt for a taxi for a quicker ride.
